The idea behind nimalou as a handmade brand stems from a childhood spent observing, appreciating, and imitating artisans at work — their precise movements, patience, and the care with which they transformed raw materials into something beautiful, useful, and durable.

Growing up in that world left a profound mark. It taught me that quality is not improvised, that every stitch has its weight, and that a handmade object carries something no machine can replicate: the soul of its creator.

Over time, observation turned into practice. I learned the techniques, I got to know the materials — their textures, their scents, how they react under my hands — and I discovered drawing as a language to give form to the ideas that would then guide all the work.

Today, with nimalou, every product comes to life this way: from idea to drawing, from careful selection of materials to craftsmanship that carries years of learning, passion, patience, and respect.
